All shipping timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Desert Harvest is not liable for carrier delays, customs delays, weather-related delays, or any other factors beyond our reasonable control.

Processing Time
Standard Processing: on average 3 business days for all orders
Processing time is separate from and in addition to shipping time
Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day
We do not operate shipping and packing on weekends or U.S. holidays
High-volume periods (holidays, sales events) may extend processing times without notice
Autoship orders are processed according to your selected schedule
What "Processing" Means: Processing includes order verification, payment authorization, picking, packing, quality inspection, and preparation for shipment. Your order has not shipped until you receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information.
Order Verification: Desert Harvest reserves the right to verify orders before processing, which may include:
Confirming billing and shipping address information
Verifying payment method authorization
Contacting customer for order clarification
Screening for potentially fraudulent activity
Order Changes and Cancellations
Contact us immediately if you need to modify or cancel your order
Changes or cancellations may not be possible once your order enters processing
Orders cannot be changed or canceled once shipped
Cancellation requests must be made via phone or email during business hours
If your order has already shipped, standard return procedures will apply

Canceling before completing three (3) shipments will result in backshipping fees (see below)
Managing Your Autoship
Changes must be made at least three (3) business days before scheduled shipment date
Changes can include: frequency, products, shipping address, or payment method

Autoship Cancellation & Fees
Cancel anytime by contacting us
Backshipping Fee: If you cancel before completing three (3) shipments, you will be charged a backshipping fee of $12.00 per shipment for each shipment not received. This fee structure is clearly communicated on the product page, cart, and checkout page.
Restocking Fee: Returned Autoship orders will be charged a minimum $12.00 restocking fee per item
Desert Harvest is not responsible for return shipping costs

INSURANCE PROTECTION
Domestic Shipping Insurance
Optional for orders under $400 USD
Required for orders $400 USD and above (automatically calculated and added at checkout)
Protects against loss or damage during transit
Insurance cost is non-refundable
What Shipping Insurance May Cover: Insurance coverage is subject to the shipping carrier's terms and conditions, and may cover:
Lost packages (confirmed lost by carrier)

Insurance does not cover items refused by customer or returned by customs
No International Insurance: Shipping insurance is NOT available for international shipments. International customers ship at their own risk.

Address corrections after shipping may incur additional fees charged by carrier
Returned packages due to incorrect address will incur reshipment fees

Undeliverable Addresses: If a package is returned as undeliverable due to customer error:
Reshipment fees will apply (customer pays actual shipping cost)
Product may be subject to restocking fee

Original shipping charges are non-refundable
Address Security:
Ensure delivery location is secure to prevent theft
Consider requiring signature confirmation for valuable orders
Desert Harvest is not responsible for stolen packages after successful carrier delivery
Use a secure address where someone can receive packages
TRACKING YOUR ORDER

You will receive an order confirmation email when order is placed
You will receive a shipping confirmation email when order ships

Check spam/junk folder if you don't receive emails
Domestic Tracking
Tracking information provided when available via email
Track your package on the carrier's website
Customer is responsible for monitoring delivery status
Desert Harvest is not responsible for carrier tracking errors, delays, or inaccurate updates
Tracking may not update in real-time

International Tracking
Limited or no tracking depending on destination country
Tracking usually ends when package enters destination country customs
Customer must contact local postal service for updates after package clears customs
Some countries do not provide tracking for incoming packages
Desert Harvest cannot provide tracking once package leaves United States
Lack of tracking updates does not indicate lost package
Lost Package Protocol:
Domestic: Must be reported within 3 business days of expected delivery date
International: Must be reported within 8 weeks of shipment for First Class, 3 weeks for Priority/Express
Desert Harvest will file claim with carrier
Reshipment will be issued once the carrier investigation confirms loss. Reshipment is our standard remedy for lost packages, and refunds are not provided as a default. Any unique circumstances are reviewed case-by-case by our Customer Care Team at (800) 222-3901 or info@desertharvest.com

Undelivered Packages
Domestic Undelivered Packages:
Packages returned due to incorrect address provided by customer will incur reshipment fees
Reshipment fees equal to actual shipping cost will be charged
Original shipping charges are non-refundable
Packages may be subject to restocking fees
Repeated address errors may result in refusal of reshipment
Desert Harvest reserves the right to refuse future orders from customers with repeated delivery issues
International Undelivered Packages:
Packages may be held in customs for up to 12 weeks or longer before being returned
Packages refused by customer or returned by customs are not refunded until received by Desert Harvest
Shipping costs are always non-refundable
Customer is responsible for any return shipping costs, customs fees, or storage fees
Packages destroyed or disposed of by customs are not eligible for refunds
If you refuse to pay customs fees and package is returned, you will not receive a refund for shipping
Refused Deliveries:
If you refuse delivery of a package, shipping charges are non-refundable
Refused packages may be subject to restocking fees
Original shipping and return shipping fees will be deducted from refund
Repeated refusals may result in termination of customer account
Damaged Packages
Must be reported within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence
Photos must show box damage and product damage
Desert Harvest reserves the right to deny late claims
Keep all packaging materials until claim is resolved
Claims filed after 24 hours may be denied
Do not discard damaged items until claim is approved
Package Theft After Delivery:
Desert Harvest is not responsible for packages stolen after successful carrier delivery
Contact local police to file theft report
Contact carrier to file claim (if insurance was purchased)
Consider requiring signature confirmation for future orders
Desert Harvest cannot provide refunds or replacements for stolen packages unless insurance claim is approved
Weather & Natural Disaster Delays:
Desert Harvest is not responsible for weather-related delays
Carrier operations may be suspended during severe weather or natural disasters

SHIPPING LIABILITY: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Desert Harvest's liability for any shipping-related issues is limited to:
The purchase price of the product(s) in the shipment
No liability for consequential, incidental, or indirect damages
No liability for carrier delays, errors, or failures
No liability for customs delays, seizures, or fees
No liability for stolen packages after successful delivery
No liability for damages caused by customer error (incorrect address, refusal of delivery, etc.)
CARRIER RESPONSIBILITY: Shipping carriers are independent contractors. Desert Harvest is not liable for:
Carrier delays, lost packages, or damaged shipments
Carrier tracking errors or lack of updates
Carrier failure to deliver
Carrier negligence or misconduct
FORCE MAJEURE: Desert Harvest is not liable for delays or failures in shipping due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters, severe weather, or acts of God
War, terrorism, or civil unrest
Government actions, regulations, or restrictions
Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies
Strikes, labor disputes, or carrier operational issues
Technological failures or cyber attacks
